Hitler was a non drinking vegetarian. Discuss.
IN Germany of all places.
Do you think if he had a pulled pork sandwich and a beer he may have been happier?

Lebensreform was a popular movement/religion at the time. It made it's way to California, eventually creating the Hippy Plague. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebensreform
The Lebensreform movement in Germany was a politically diverse movement. There were hundreds of groups across Germany dedicated to some or all of the concepts associated with Lebensreform: ecology and organic farming, vegetarianism, naturism (freie Körperkultur or FKK), and abstinence from alcohol and tobacco. Dozens of magazines, books, and pamphlets were published on these topics. Some groups were made of socialists, some were apolitical, and some were rightwing and nationalist in outlook.[4]
Interesting.
shareInteresting, I have heard of that movement before but didn't make the connection. I think it is ironic because to me nothing is more natural and primal than eating meat and hunting.
shareI personally do think vegetarians/vegans are missing some nutrients from their diets and it causes them to be a bit more irritated. Vegetarians/vegans never seem happy, lol.
Vegetarians are eccentric people. I've read part of Mein Kampf. The way he articulates himself in Mein Kampf comes off as if he could've been an English major in literature. Very elitist. Very obsessive with details and fashion - how things are expressed. I would say that of Adolf.
You might have been poking some fun, but more than half of the vegans I know are screw balls with loose nuts. I mean weird. Now, I don't believe it's the diet makes them loons, I think being a loon contributes to being a vegan.
As an aside, here's something interesting: my wife was a school teacher, and she always could figure out which kids were children of vegans because they always seemed sickly and missed a lot of school. She was right about 80 percent of the time.
It's unhealthy. I've heard of vegan women losing their menstrual period. My sister in law is not vegetarian or vegan, but she does observe a keto diet. When she was pregnant, she stopped observing the keto diet and ate whatever she wanted. You gotta listen to your body and get those nutrients that your ancestors got. It's not just protein that's in meat, it is MANY different kinds of nutrients that's in meat that you can't get with plants.
Yeah, definitely. I agree with you. Check out Steve Pavlina and his website. He's been vegan since the 1990's. He posts all kinds of weird stuff, which is entertaining.
Agree. Still, there's no doubt that many non-vegans eat atrociously, but a vegan diet is just as bad in the other direction.
The other thing I've observed about vegans is that they generally take better care of themselves in other ways. The few I actually know are not smokers and are not overweight, two things that shorten human life for sure and otherwise skew the numbers of life expectancy.
I agree, vegetarians/vegans tend to be smaller, weaker etc. Not good at all for babies (two different couples below on charges) and children. The ones who make their pets vegan are even sicker. They are easily irritated and want to convert everyone, the whole "misery loves company" theory. https://www.thedailybeast.com/florida-couple-nearly-starved-baby-to-death-on-bizarre-vegan-diet

Vegans also do weird things like trying to make artificial meat and trying to make vegetables taste like meat. I would say the same about a meat eater who tries to make a T bone taste like lettuce.
Scary...that is common. Babies/kids getting screwed up because they're given a vegan diet.
Artificial meat? At that point, they should just eat regular meat. What a lie to their psyche. If a vegan misses eating meat and wants to eat fake meat, then that is just stupid.
he was enjoying his meth injections a lot
shareAlso didn't smoke. Mildly interesting coincidences, but meaningless.
shareHe did eat meat it's recorded many times he ate meat in diary from those who knew him and joined him often from dinners. He did however have a digestive issue and suffered from wind and cramps from finding it difficult to digest meat and other foods. So more often than not he had a bland diet. But that's not as interesting as saying " he was a complete nutcase who caused the death of millions but he was a vegetarian and kind to animals" ! He tested poison on his own dog just before he took some himself and shot himself; not a member of petra.
