In the literary lore, Wolverine is 5'3 so not so far from - a bit shorter than Hirch.

I feel his voice is too soft and doesn't look manly enough. I did suggest him on imdb as a joke years ago

Check this picture though:

Might work? Though I cannot remember his voice... but that can be manipulated in post.

reply

Thats the pictured I used as a refrence in my joke post but his voice is boyish
Thanks for the nostalgia

Great as Jackman was, he was a far cry from Wolverine. His fights were as great as they could ever be, but given his dashing physique and looks they just lacked that Wolverine je ne sais quoi that makes his fighting unique amongst the lot.... there is just something to seeing a short brute unattractive fellow hand out a plate of ass kicking like it is nobodies business...

But does an actor like him/it really exist?

I see potential in Hirsch and I am curious . Maybe in Joaquin Phoenix and Tom Hardy too. I do not see it in Eastwood, just too handsome and not very skilled in acting.

The problem is there aren't any 5'3 actors you might have to settle for somebody 5'10 or shorter like Frank Grillo,Jon Bernthal or Logan Marshall Green. Back in 1990s Glen Danzing,Michael Wincott or Jack Earle Haley.

reply

Rousimar Palhares... not an actor, but he is physically pretty near.
