Lacks in eloquence

This is a general observation and by no means intended as a personal attack but merely a constructive criticism: this actor is not very well spoken!

I work in the industry (behind the scenes, if you will-also, I'm a very small fish in the pond) but I have helped set up a couple of sets for the interviews he participated in. I wasn't very impressed with his speaking ability, he reminds me of all of those other younger actors that can barely put a sentence together without repeating the words: "like, you know and aaaa". I think he should either get a coach or a personal mentor that will guide him on how to deal with the media. His generation (especially Hispanics) need a good example here.

I think he is a good example actually. I've only SEEN one interview with him and I think he did a good job. He didn't do a lot of repeating words, he sort of stopped and thought about things a lot which I think is a good thing. That way he won't say something stupid and he seems to really be thinking about his words.

That's a pretty offensive generalisation

Especially Hispanics? Are you saying that all hispanics are the same? Is everyone of a certain race exactly the same?

Okay, I get what you are saying, but can one actor seriously shape what we think about all hispanics in general...I mean since you are a young hispanic...if Jay had eloquence does that mean that you have eloquence too, or since Dakota Fanning can top most adult actors and I'm white does that mean that I can top most adult actors too? It just seems like it's being somewhat stereotypical that's all.
