Thanks, I've read that. It's odd, clearly the article is from and about the body double. The only "sort of" quote from Lena is:
I’ve said from day one that I’ve got no problem with nudity. I’ve done it throughout my career. But for this character, it’s been better for her regality and her feistiness to not bare her flesh until she has to. When it’s out of her control. And if that ever happens, it won’t be Cersei being seductive or sexy. She’ll be stripped. That kind of a scene will have more power if it’s not an everyday occurrence. I can’t wait for that.
But if you read that quote carefully you see she's not talking about that scene or the body double. It's a general quote about her character in the show and the concept of nudity. The key phrase is "and if that ever happens..." that sounds like she was talking to someone way before that scene was even known about. Then she says: "I can't wait for that."
Clearly this quote has nothing to do with the scene or the body double.
I still feel like Lena would never shy away from nudity and never use a body double, especially for that scene.
Is it possible Lena did that scene and that the body double was only used for small parts of it?
