Einstein's Birthday and Stephen Hawking's death, a day that is now doubly famous.Albert Einstein was born on 3/14 - pi day - in 1879 and lived to be 76. Stephen Hawking died on 3/14 - pi day - and also lived to be 76

European style of writing dates. They write day-month-year (14/3/18), not month-day-year (3/14/18).

Since there is no April 31st, I guess they just use our Pi day.
