Scientology Scares Me
Just because someone is well known doesn't necessarily mean they can act. Voice acting is an art and Hawes definitely has the goods. I don't notice the acting in most games because it's usually pedestrian or wretched.
This game? Unusually good. Hawes actually makes Lara funny and you feel the emotional journey.
Since when do people buy a game based solely on a voice? And since when do American gamers buy a game based on a voice? You buy the game if it's a good game. If the voice is great, it just adds to the enjoyment, making this a great game (except for the motorcyle crap.)
As for Brosnan and Dench..have you actually heard them on the game? Do gamers buy a game because Dame Demch is one of the voices? Heh, I think not. Brosnan is fine for voice-over narration but isn't always so great at character.

she is doing a great job even though i have never heard of her b/c i have played the demo. Plus angelina has been busy latley like being pregnant and being on all of the top tablloid stories.
