Dexter, probably pretty common

Anyways I love your show. To be honest it is the first show which made me start watching shows from start to finish; chronologically. So it is my first serial show lol. Anyways I have just started rewatching it, and your character should have been caught 5 times over. The biggest most obvious flaw so far is when you break Travis Marshall's chains with the axe. You break the chain in half and his hands go underneath the table and all of sudden he is released from his cuffs. All you did was smash the chain, not use a key to release the cuffs, so technically he should have half chains hanging from his wrists attached to the cuffs still. You could have really used this untouched subtlety in the whole evidence in how he was mentally disturbed. Like maybe this passed Dexter and it is part of his unconscious plan to act out his prophecy. Maybe this was part of the plot but wasn't included in the release plot. Either way it is only one of many where it should have led to a more substantial investigation into the "bay harbour buthcher". Regardless I love the show!!
