Bill Hader Deserves an Oscar

Have you seen how many movies and TV shows he has volunteered to do? I listened to Kevin Smith's audiobook "Tough *beep* and I come back with an abundance of information about the movie industry that I never knew about, and nobody else would have the courage to talk about, except Kevin Smith.

Back to Bill Hader: he has been jumping and twisting in his acting career, unlike the big-time, Oscar-winning celebrities. He is so UNDERRATED, it's nearly a crime. I had to include capitals there, because it's important to know that he does not receive enough credit for his work.

I think if he keeps up what he's doing that he could get there someday. The Skeleton Twins was such a great turn for him and it seems like he'll be breaking more new ground with Trainwreck, finally playing the leading man role.

I'm hoping that between those two performances he will at least get noticed by a more widespread audience as someone who actually just radiates talent. I think at this point a lot of people just think of him as the supporting guy who makes funny and/or outlandish comments.

I think he has the potential to become a film star. He proved in The Skeleton Twins that he's leading man material (although Kristen Wiig was there as his safety net). But, that was a micro-budget indie flick that not many people saw whereas Trainwreck is on course to be this year's biggest comedy. It'll definitely raise his profile and show audiences more of his talents as a leading man.

He's continuing to improve even more with each performance. I can see him being nominated for an Oscar before he hits 40. He might get a surprise Golden Globe nod for Trainwreck though (he has been getting great notices from all the early reviews).

I agree. I'm really excited to see him in Trainwreck. I think people will finally see him in the lead role and this will open doors to a lot more films and he will finally be recognized for his talent. He is very underrated.
