Yes, I completely agree, her mouth and facial proportions make her look like a spawning salmon! She maybe small nosed, plump lipped and blued eyed, but there is still something uncanny and frightening about her face, comparable to the feeling the reader gets from the descriptions of Mr. Hyde's face.
Over time I came to see that her proportions resembled those of the meth whore that Jesse and Hank encounter; the long masculine face, the sunken-in bellow-cheeks area and eyes, and the monstrous teeth, with the exception of having softer skin. Additionally, the unnatural motions of her lips when speaking couldn't stop reminding me that they must have been somehow artificially plumped.
However, what repulsed me the most was the combination of these factors with some kind of inner ugliness. Obviously, as an actress, her true character isn't fully represented in her depictions of characters. However, every actor draws on the only accumulated experiences they have, to understand how to portray their characters feelings, thus, undeniably there is something of the actress within the character. Ultimately, what I felt radiated from the actress' eyes was some kind of predatory animal brutality and wildness coupled with a lack of compassion. Thus, I can't help but feel that this actress is inescapably physically repulsive and frightening. * This is not to say that she is bad at acting, just that when I watch her on breaking bad this is all that is running through my mind, but perhaps others have different perceptions on the matter of her appearance, and presence.
I mean come on, is this not a link to the photo essay of the day she got discovered by her talent agent?? http://www.odditycentral.com/pics/worlds-biggest-salmon.html
