Fantastic in Gracepoint
She was excellent in Gracepoint. She got better and better through the episodes.
During the last episode she was amazing - she deserves an Emmy nomination for that.
I love her.

She really was rather good. I mostly know her from "Breaking Bad," where I thought she did a fine job, but I hated all the character in that show so much it was hard to take, sometimes. GP could have been better, but she humanized a character who was, I thought, kind of under-written at the beginning.
You're right that she got better, but then, I have to credit at least some of that with the writing, which I thought got stronger in the last 3-4 episodes, especially in regard to her character.
It's unfortunate that the show was so low-rated. The ending set-up the possibilities for a continuing story, and I think that story would be more interesting than the one they told, with lots of space for moral ambiguity and an exploration of responsibility--there's just so much there for good writers to work with. Unfortunately, a kind of clumsy start (which reminded me perhaps a bit too much of "The Killing") didn't keep viewers around, so we won't be seeing what could have been really interesting TV.
That and she cleans up well. Her blond 1940's - 1950's look is sexy as hell.
