No star vehicle yet
I am surprised that Anna Gunn has not had a chance to showcase how truly talented she is. Her role in Breaking Bad demonstrated her talent. Allison Janney starred in films for years. It was not until she was cast in The West Wing that people took real notice of her. I wish the same for Ms Gunn.
I think Anna Gunn could easily be a lead in a political or espionage drama like Homeland or House of Cards. You catch a little glimpse of that in the movie Sully. I can imagine her in a drama playing the White House Chief of Staff,CIA section chief, Press Secretary or the National Security Advisor.
