Why does she always play supporting roles?

I think almost every movie I've seen her in she's the best friend of the star. She's an awesome actress, I would love to see her in the leading role.

I KNOW, right? And speaking of which, she has shot a pilot called "Mad Love," which is expected to be a mid-season replacement on CBS in 2011. She plays the best friend of Sarah Chalke's character there.

This is getting too serious! Kick her! Kick her in the head!

I dont watch either of these but, 26 eps of Glenn Martin DDS, 10 eps of Archer, both cartoon voice-overs, but still regular work.

I know what you mean though, I'm still waiting for her to lead a sitcom, or movie; she's well overdue. I'd much rather watch Judy 3 times a day in syndication rather than ol christine(elaine from seinfeld).

Cuz she's a character actress. Like not regulation hottie and has too much of a personality. To be leading you usually have to be a blank slate in which women can project themselves onto and/or the beautiful/hot woman. She's like a regular girl with a sort of nasal voice. But she's been working steadily which is a beautiful thing. But I think she needs a tv show. I think that's where she belongs. A lead on some comedy. Like Zooey Deschanel, Amy Poheler, etc.

After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.

She had the lead in Barry Munday.

She really is almost forever the best friend.

I think it'd be fun to be that kind of actress however. Get to work on lots of different movies without feeling star-grade pressure.
JMO--if she actually wants a leading role then of course I feel for her.

She's still in supporting roles. Real shame

Just saw her on the Canadian evening talk show, "George Stroumboulopoulos"; lovely actress. Her autobiography's actually called "I Don't Know What You Know Me From: Confessions of a Co-Star" (2014)!
