What's next for Holly Grainger?

TARDIS Dude here,

I'm just wondering what Holly Grainger will be doing, once she finishes university, in terms of TV, theatre, and, dare I say it, film. I now know that Miss Grainger is not going to be a member of the cast of the first St Trinian's film in over twenty-five years, but that doesn't stop me wishing she gets the chance to move towards entering into cinema. In my opinion, she has the talent and the on-screen charisma that can be translated from small screen acting to that of the big screen variety; even her name has a movie star ambiance to it. That is why I am hoping that her next role will be a film one.

Regards,
TARDIS Dude.

Next she's going to be in: http://imdb.com/title/tt1037018/ She won't graduate from uni until 2009, so I guess she just has to find stuff that fits around her term dates. Not sure why you seem so keen for her to move into film. Assuming film is inherantly superior only serves to perpetuate that notion, which IMO is especially dangerous as we make so many s****y films in this country.

Amoammo,

I am keen for her to make the transition to movies, because all her acting roles have been in theatre and TV. Her fellow actresses, who are in her age group, give or take a year two, such as Anna Popplewell and Carey Mulligan have a mixture of film, television and theatrical roles in their CVs. Holly hasn't yet been given that opportunity. I am convinced she has the acting ability necessary to be an effective movie actress.

Holly guest starred in the BBC childrens show M.I. High under her real name of Holliday Grainger, series 2 episode one - It's a Kind of Magic which was broadcast on BBC1 on January 7th 2008

she was not in episode two so I'm not sure if it was a one off or she will appear in other episodes.
