Favorite Lauren movie

Since I haven't seen one single Lauren movie so far but of course Gilmore Girls and all Parenthood episodes so far, I wonder if you could recommend me the best movies with Lauren in it, and I'm talking her having the lead or at least more than a couple of scenes. I really like her and am curious if she can work as a film actress as well.

Loved Lauren in "Bad Santa."

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

I agree on "BAD SANTA"! Freaking hilarious and entertaining!
Otherwise "Birds of America". She and Matthew Perry are married, plus Ginnifer Goodwin and Hilary Swank, pretty cool movie.
And then there are some older ones, less popluar, but I love them just as much. There is "Chansing Destiny", where she is the daughter of a former Rockstar and finds love...
Then "Because I said so", but she is not the lead there, still cool to see her beside Diane Keaton who inspired her to become an actress.
I can also recommend "Lucky 13", "Evan Almighty" and "The Answer Man".

I watched "Birds Of America" some month ago, but found it very average. Despite the good cast. But I am planning to watch "The Answer Man" soon. I'll put "BAD SANTA" (^^) on my list, seems to be a lot of fun! Thanks for all your answers.

Nightwatch with Ewan McGregor, Nick Nolte, and Josh Brolin

Chasing Destiny - lead part and wide acting range.
One True Thing - best movie she was in, but she had a small part.
Bad Santa is fine, too.

We can't be lost; we don't know where we're going.
All that matters is that we're going.

Bad Santa is a funny movie, but Lauren is wasted in it, she has very few scenes although one of them is funny in a crude sense, but once seen, you'll never be able to see her in Gilmore Girls in the same light again, at least not straight away. Gilmore Girls is still screening here, two episodes a day and I never miss it.
