What happened to her face???

The woman is 48 years old. That sort of thing happens at that age. Im sure she's still stunning in real life.

It seems off, too full. She looks so much better with a thin face. Or she just gained weight.

I am 48 and no, my face did not instantly puff up. She probably had some bad work done.

She gained weight. Simple. She's human. It's not plastic surgery. It's simple weight gain. Still beautiful though.

Just saw some 2015 pics of her. Not sure if they are the ones you are talking about, but anyway, her face doesn't look that much fatter to me. A bit, but nothing outrageous. She still looks like herself, basically. That being said, I've never thought she was beautiful. I think having a very thin and tall body did a lot for her looks when she was younger (Gilmore Girl days) but I find her face to be not ugly at all, but sort of non-descript. Like slightly above average but not all-out beautiful. It was all in the body and personality for her. But looks are subjective, of course.

I know what the OP is talking about, and it's just age. Her chin, nose and lips are a sign she's nearly 50. I don't actually think she's had any surgeries, and good on her! Still beautiful.

I think she had some fillers shot in her face, pretty common these days, it settles in after a bit Madonna recently did this too.
