I think if Topher truly wanted to pursue his 'niche', those other plainer guys wouldn't be much competition. i think Topher more likely wants to shake off his Foreman character & come across more serious. He wants to be taken seriously & be seen as an adult actor, not teh same goofy cute kid he played in T70sS.
