"cute" is an insult. It means "he doesn't look that good but i'd still do him". and that's never a compliment.

It's not an insult when I say it. Cute means good looking. If I wanted to insult him I wouldn't have said "cute"

I know you didn't mean it as an insult. I am just saying that for some guys, being called or considered "cute" sounds bad.

Actually, "insult" is not the correct term. I should have said "cute" is simply not flattering because it is not a term masculine enough.

Cute to me is still attractive, but it's not like Topher is reading this message board anyways
