Has the best podcast on the planet!

Has anyone ever listened to Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast? I'm not a podcast person at all, but this show is so good that it's the only one that I listen to. He has tons of legendary singers, actors, comedians and movie stars on his show who dish on tons of insider Hollywood stuff and also give insight into how classic TV shows and movies were made and what it was like working with other legends (Lucille Ball, Groucho Marx, Danny Kaye, etc.).

The show is so good that even guests who, by their name you think, "Oh, that person sounds so boring; this is gonna suck," winds up being the most interesting and funny person you ever heard.

If you're really a movie or TV show freak, I strongly urge anyone to give it a listen:

It's amazing. The stories he gets out of so many legends from so many eras, and it's fucking hilarious on top of that. Great podcast. Hugely underrated.

I just listened to the Artie Lange episode last night, and as much as I can't stand Lange (I really can't), my throat was literally hurting from laughter when it was all over.

And yes, it is so, so incredibly underrated, criminally underrated. I remember years ago everyone making a big deal about how Howard Stern was becoming a great interviewer. No way! GG and Frank Santopadre completely blow Stern out of the water. This podcast is the modern day Dick Cavett Show.

So strange you specifically mentioned Artie, I almost mentioned him in my original post. Those two have a special chemistry, he & Gilbert are like two brothers when they get together, & just start cracking themselves (and anyone listening) up. If you've just discovered the podcast, scroll back and listen to the Artie episode from 5 or so years ago, it's amazing as well. So many great episodes. Good call on the Dick Cavett Show comparison by the way.

Yeah, I'm aware of Gilbert and Artie. They first did their shtick on The Howard Stern Show ages ago. Then they both became "exiled", so I think they get together once on the podcast once in awhile for that very reason. Since they can't go on Stern, the next best thing is the podcast.
