Just because someone has certain haircut does not make them straight/gay/bi.

it doesnt MAKE them anything, but it doesnt mean people wont speculate.

People make these speculations because, in this case, a certain type of haircut is favoured by people of a certain sexual orientation.

Its like how if you saw a woman with a justin beiber haircut. That was popular with lebians, so you would wonder if they were a lesbian, due to this fact. People stray away from certain haircuts so that they arent associated with a certain orientation.

this is how life is. you can make your hair any way you want, but haircuts (as with any style) makes a statement, and just because you only like a style for how it looks, you will still make a statement by wearing it, even if you didnt mean to.

Generalizations of any group of people born into a certain demographic is bigotry and we should strive daily to teach ourselves not to do it and it takes practice. From "all Southerners are stupid" to "all Asians are smart" and everything in between. When we generalize we make assumptions and we don't look at people as individuals. It's not PC run amuck, it's treating others as individual, important persons in their own right.

Perhaps next time you can check an actors bio to answer your poorly worded questions. But then you don't get the attention you did by knowingly posting an outrageous question. Don't forget the old adage, "when you assume something you only make an ass of you and me." Next time put some thought into your questions and how you word them please.
