Perhaps MG will be selected to star in this new program...Ridley Scott and TGW producers are involved...it will be filmed in Richmond, Virginia this spring..fingers crossed...

From the press release..sounds interesting..he intersection of North and South within the confines of a small occupied city creates a rich world that is chaotic, conflicted, corrupt, dynamic and even hopeful — a cauldron within which these characters strive, fight, love, laugh, betray, sacrifice and, at times, act like scoundrels.

PBS, in addition, will introduce a new Civil War-themed historical drama, shot in Virginia that will follow two volunteer nurses on opposite sides of the Civil War. Still untitled and executive produced by Ridley Scott (“Gladiator,” “Thelma & Louise”), David W. Zucker (“The Good Wife”) and Lisa Q. Wolfinger, the new drama will be set against the backdrop of doctors and female nurses struggling to save lives while facing their own trials and tribulations. Six episodes have been ordered for a planned winter 2016 debut.

Great minds think alike! He can do scoundrel so well especially the lovable type.

He would be filming just a couple of hours away. Richmond is a fun town where he could find a bit of mischief, too.

Sounds like a great idea. He would be more than perfect for that period show. Same people who lured him to TGW as well.

Looks like he did a Q&A in NY recently and was very inspirational there. Would have loved to have been there too.

What lovely comments - I love it when people who meet him confirm how wonderful he is. It justifies my adoration of this man! Not that I need any justification. I adore him whatever.
