Didn't he give any statements about what or when his new project will be?

He said in a recent interview at the baftas that after Birdman and Revenant he needed a long break,but being that ambitious and in such a high demand, i think (and hope) he will release something in a couple of years.

Yeah and Leonardo DiCaprio had said he'd take a break after Wolf of Wall Street but then Iñárritu pulled him into The Revenant. I'm sure something similar will happen to Iñárritu
