I would like to say that i thought he was excellent as John Procter in the RSC version of the Crucible. I wasn't too keen on the overall interpretation and the cast, but he really made it for me. His transformations as the character were very good. Particularly between act 3 and 4 and although i personally don't find him attractive, I have to say he was very manly and rugged in that Procter way.

He also did the best version of Procters final speech of act 3 that Ive ever seen, because he really just went for it!

Is this production stage televion or actual stage performance. Would been interesting to see him.

I was also in the stage production in Hong Kong as Judge Hawthorne. I am sure his role as John Proctor was marvelous, unlike the actor who played in my production.
