So good at portraying polar opposite characters.
In fairness I only know him from two roles, but I absolutely detested him in Tomb Raider: slimy, sly, traitorous, shallow, greedy, one-dimensional, amoral, creepy gross scumbag villain whom I was glad to see killed.
And entirely against my expectations I adore him in Game of Thrones: noble, loyal, devoted, handsome, dashing, resilient, badass, fascinating, arguably selfless and full of heartbreaking depth, a hero and anti-hero at the same time.
Granted he's a sneaky whatsit in GOT too, but only until his goodness gets a chance to shine. He's proven his worth in the end, many times over (Jorah that is). I can't think of any other actor who has completely reversed my mind to that degree. Nicely done, Iain. Nicely done.
The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.
