Which look do you prefer?

I don't usually go for skinheads and tend to love long hair on guys. However, I think that Joe's hair on Emmerdale is too much, as you can't really see his face. In TIE, I noticed he had lovely long eyelashes and you would never normally get to see them!

I liked his hair best in some of the behind-the-scenes footage in the TIE extras. It was sort of ruffled/spiky and he had a nice tan. I'm tempted to cut his hair myself now - to prove there is a cute guy lurking underneath

I am loving the new hairdo that he is sporting on Emmerdale at the moment. I haven't watched it in ages, but saw it today, and was like 'oh my....Eli!'...he is incredibly sexy either, short haired, skinhead, or long haired. He suits it all

I just watched that! This is the first episode he has sported it! I am going to be having naughty thoughts about him all night now! I far prefer Eli to all the supposed eyecandy they have just introduced!

Totally agree! All the newbies are much too clean cut for my liking...give me Eli (or Cain!) any time!

I just wish they'd give Joe Gilgun more screentime and decent storylines though. He seems to be in the background right now and that's a crying shame. Not least since he had to turn down a role in Kick-Ass. I hope the new producers get their act together and realise that Joe can do more than comedy (though he does make me laugh).

Still, I'd rather watch Eli in the background looking hot than some prettyboy up front looking bland

Cain is also quite a hottie...
