He has an interesting twang in his accent in this that's kind of similar to David Thewlis. Did Joe put on the same accent for his character or is he from the same area as Thewlis?

I know he is from Chorley, it sounded similar to a Bolton accent (He reminded me of Patrick McGuinness) but they are close to each other though
It was odd this film as it had a complete mix of accents i dont any 2 were the same! its quite nice that actually though.
