I hear he had to turn down a role for the film due to his Emmerdale commitments. Does anyone know what part it was? Or was it just a rumour?

It has been said officially that he turned down a role in a film with Nic Cage because it clashed with his Emmerdale schedule. Says in other places and in trivia for Kick-Ass on IMDB that it was for that film. I have no idea what role it was for - can't have been a huge one anyway. Not seen the film yet, are there any supporting characters you could imagine him playing?
