I was just watching S03E06 of Misfits, and I noticed his charater Rudy's hand and finger tattoos. I was just wondering if they're real?
They look like unprofessionally done stick n poke tattoos. If they're real, they're freakin' cool looking and props to him!
I'm curious as well. He has tattoos in This is England and looks to have some in his new movie. I'm not sure what's real if any.

shareAll the tattoos you see him with in Misfits are real. They do add one or two in TIE though.
He has said that he gets tattoos to help him remember events or people that mean a lot to him, or that he owes a lot to. For instance, he has one on his forearm that is dedicated to Shane Meadows and Mark Herbert (writer/director and producer of TIE) and on his chest, he has the call sheet numbers of his fellow Misfits.

yeah, all his tattoos are real. in TIE, he has a swasticka and the cross on his forehead. those two are the only ones he really doesn't have. and if you've seen in Lockout, they give him a huge tattoo in the middle of his chest that's not real. but the E and Q on his shoulders are his.
