Would have been perfect...

...in Trainspotting. I'm not very familiar with his other work, but I just watched Trainspotting again recently, and it occurs to me that, based on his performance as Cassidy in "Preacher" (not as a vampire, of course, but with his demeanor and his accent -- and yes, I know Cassidy is Irish and the movie took place in Scotland), he would have fit right in with the rest of the characters in the movie. Just an observation...

He definitely would have been. Too bad he wasn't cast for it

He was 11 when they made Trainspotting. Unless you're talking about the sequel.

But yeah, he would have fit in, if he were older...

The actor is English and played a Scotsman in Lockout so yeah he'd be good in that anarchic role. His Irish accent is impressive, though not a Dublin accent, more Cork if anything. I'll let him away with it though.
