Jeff Garlin of "The Goldbergs" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" has been slated to play disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein in a new biopic for HBO. The film will tell the story of Weinstein from the first movie he and his brother produced ("The Burning" in 1981) to his religious conversion to Christianity in prison.
but there's no source indicating Jeff Garlin will play Weinstein, he addressed the likeness on Curb and not long after was accused of sexual assault, I doubt he would ever take such a role.
Garlin was never accused of sexual assault. He was accused of being unpleasant on set, saying off-color things, and telling dirty jokes in front of some prudes who worked on "The Goldbergs".
The context is important but we're only told so much, if it was one person in particular he was circling and making the remarks to then I would consider that harassment but anything can seem bad out of context, the quotes in the article don't consider tone. He works with Larry David, wouldn't surprise me if his 'grumpiness' on set was just him playing up his neuroticism for laughs.

He told dirty jokes and was occasionally rude to folks on set of Goldbergs but it probably wasn't anything extraordinary but in the present neo-McCarthy era of naming names in the #MeToo hysteria, people are looking for things to get triggered by.
