Just saw the movie last week-- completely terrific. Now I'm curious: does anyone know if Stephane's background/upbringing in the film is a parallel or influenced by Gael's? I don't know much about him, but I'm wondering if the storyline involving his mother being French or his father suffering from cancer is inspired by his own life or even that of the director. Anyone know?
shareThe director, Michel Gondry said that Science of Sleep was loosely based on his life. The movie has nothing to do with Gael's life though.
