I though the commercial was fine. I liked it.

I saw a second Gillette commercial that featured Gael and his varied facial hair. This one was a bit better than the first but why is he doing these?

I find it hard to believe you've seen either but let's pretend you have ... he has a very minor role in Babel. Perhaps the politics of The MC Diaries distracted you because he delivers on a complex and romantic role. Have you seen Bad Education? Blindness? The King? Amores Perros? No? To name but a few.

There's a reason Hollywood doesn't let him headline a flick, though it's keen to cast him in romantic leads, and it's to do with being Hispanic IMO.

Re the ads: I wish he wouldn't do them for his credibility however, the fatc that Gillette have him in 2 that I've seen speaks volumes about his commercial saleability.
