Yes, very possibly. It's been scientifically proven that the look of a person clearly indicates his or her character.
Also, if someone looks like "a douche" to one person, that person will always also look like "a douche" to everyone else, and will without exception and always act in the expected manner.
If you were ever to see an actual person on the street that looked like a douche, think about changing the side of the road, since a douche has the tendency to release water.

Thank goodness evolution has made social life so easy to everyone, saves us a lot of actually having to get to know people!

Actually, this is true.

A person's looks do have a tremendous influence on how they are perceived by others, which affects how one is reacted to and treated, subsequently shaping their personality.

Do you see many amazingly beautiful people begging on the street, or living in poor sections of towns, etc? No.

So yes, often times people who look like douches ARE douches. And sometimes people who make sarcastic comments aren't well-informed enough to know that their sarcasm is actually truth.
