MARTIN FREEMAN SHOULD PLAY JOKER IN BATMAN !!!

I think he will just excel in the role of Joker. He and only he can play that role justifying it. Heath Ledger played it brilliantly and no one can replace the performance which he gave, but we need a replacement just as strong and real as Joker can be.

He's a great actor, but he's not the Joker. I'm sorry, but to bring a comic book character to life, you sort of have to a least look the part in a ball-park way, and Martin Freeman isn't even CLOSE to what the Joker looked like - no matter who drew him.
