I just now caught her in Neverwhere..which feels so low budget (read the book though, too curious not to see it), but I thought she really stood out in it. Man she really just has that 'unique' beauty to me..

I just now caught her in Neverwhere..which feels so low budgetMaking Neverwhere as a BBC miniseries with half-hour episodes shot on videotape was a really dumb move. It should really be remade, but I suppose Laura Fraser would be too old to play Door in the remake. (At some point Gaiman was going to do a theatrical remake with the Jim Henson company, which had worked with him on MirrorMask, but I don't know whether that project is still alive.)

Gaiman is supposed to write a sequel to the Neverwhere novel, though, and if that book gets adapted, they should bring Laura back (unless it's supposed to pick up right where Neverwhere ended, with very little time having passed).

In case anyone's curious, the Neverwhere sequel (if it ever gets written) will probably be called "The Seven Sisters."
