Yes Favreau just sucks. It's bad enough that he is directing, but just like JJ Abrams, his films are entertaining though the stories are as full of holes, and completely unbelievable and corny. But that is what it takes to be famous in America now, just dumb everything down so the average American idiot can get it. Don't make films too smart or no one will see them. Good work, Jon.

shareCowbows & Aliens sucked, yes. It was pure poop with a by the numbers screenplay as predictable as death and taxes.
But IRON MAN was a great film. ELF was a lot of fun. MADE is a good film.
IRON MAN 2 was a mess. Incredibly uneven.
So while he might be a bit uneven, his films do not 'suck.'
Are we going to judge FFC based upon JACK? Spielberg based upon HOOK?
