I am Happy that we have an Iranian actress that she can act along with big hollywood stars but let s pray that we never be proud of putting our name along with big names but make of ourself a big name ,,,just like Bollywood in India,,that with their hardworking , they have reached the blockbuster movies around the world and represented also India to the world and even reached madam tsauda museaum in England,,,
Golshifteh reached Hollywood and reached Leonardo but it doesn t mean that Iran has reached the top of the list,
soon or later they will use our actors and ask them to act in the role as a turkish , arab but maybe never as an decent Iranian and then the name is gone,
never trust Hollywood,,,!

I must sadly admit that you are right about that !

We as Iranina can only have temporarily feeling of pride and joy while watching our beloved actresses [ remembering Shohreh Aghdashloo too ] in Hollywood mainstream movies. But as you said after a while they turn into bad guy roles as some eastern vicious criminals ...

Well,let's just enjoy some decent Hollywood or bollywood movies and leave it to our artists's managers to worry about it and pray that they will do their best trying to get the best roles they can for our lovely artists ...What else can we do ?!

sadly they didn`t let her go to the prince of persia screen test ...

She is indeed a marvelous actress. I just watched Body of Lies on BluRay and discovered what I believe were her best scenes in the Special Features, unfortunately in deleted scenes.

It's only with the heart that one can see clearly. What's essential is invisible to the eye.
