Any word on if Dakota is playing a role or herself at the Met Gala as rumored?
I don't think she's "current" enough to be playing herself tbh. I think celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid or One Direction could play themselves because they're very recognisable, whereas Dakota would just blend in.
But Dakota was rarely seen on set so either way, she clearly has a small role.
She is known for going to The Met Gala several years though. People still know her as Dakota Fanning as a bit reference. Not like a major draw but just for fun.
It's a small role but she will get to attend the premiere and she's already been mentioned in many articles which may help boost her career a bit.
