If you close your eyes while watching The Killing...she sounds exactly like Gillian Anderson.

She does! I'm watching for the 1st time, but I couldn't think of the Gillian's name at the time. Eventually, I forgot about it and then saw this post. Speech pattern and subtle nuances are similar.
