Why Aren't FreakyLinks and Dragnet on DVD?

Honestly! With everything else that has been buried in the back of studio vaults coming to DVD, why not these two excellent series' that starred Ethan?

At one time Dragnet season 1 was coming to DVD but after the showrunners messed the series up completely for season 2, and Ethan made a wise exit, the DVD release was cancelled. With the amount of episodes in both seasons, it could be released as a regular box set.

Then we come to FreakyLinks, the most fan loved and network hated show ever. This show is still totally incredible! The camera work, the stories, the chemistry between all the actors--- total TV magic! Throw in the "ahead of it's time" promotional website that you thankfully can still view here, http://www.haxan.com/portfolio/freakylinks/ and you get a true cult classic. This show drew inspiration from the '70s Kolchak: The Night Stalker and wasn't missing anything that the current show Supernatural doesn't have except network support.

13 episodes on DVD, how hard is that? The Lone Gunmen got their 13 episode DVD set, both seasons of Dark Angel are available, where's FreakyLinks? I really hate network politics.

I don't know man, Dragnet was an amazing series until they gooped it up in the second year by bringing in all those bozos. Did EE leave or was he fired? I thought he was fired.

The original series dynamic in the first season was star and co-star. With Ed O'Neil wanting to pull back and not be in every scene, "the group" was added for the second season. To be downgraded from co-star to "one of the group", with less screen time, I don't think sat well with EE. This is the way I understand things to have been and I find those reasons totally justified.

Yep, FreakyLinks was nice while it lasted, seeing it on Chiller. I have also managed to watch Dragnet on Veoh.com recently. I still don't get why both of these series aren't out on DVD.
