Are you nuts... saying Ethan Embry ruined The National Lampoon series is nuts. Two words... Chevy Chase. Everything he touches turns to *beep* Except Caddyshack 1, Fletch, and the first Vacation. I say that National Lampoon Vacation was ruined before Embry got there.

It's my dad's favourite movie, and we started watching it in like, October at least four times a week to get read for Christmas.

Yeah, I can't defend Eurpoean Vacation, but Christmas vacation was a classic. Probably the best of all the vacations.

I disagree. I think he was great in the movie. It cracks me up when he starts winning everything and has the big party in the suite. His reactions are great.

I also have to disagree with the person who said Chevy Chase ruined this film. He's a classic comedian and is hilarious in everything he does. His comedy is timeless to me. He's the best part of every vacation flick in my opinion.
