The 1956 Republican platform was jam packed with social programs that were intended to improve life for Americans.

If this was the 2020 Democratic Party platform, today's Republican would call it communism.

The Republican Party, up to Trump, has always sought to improve life for Americans. Life before three years ago was a lot less expensive and safer than it has been the last three years.
