The man can cry!

In the short time I've been watching CSI I've seen Nick tear-up quite a few times. He does it so well, tearing-up without actually crying. I just watched the episode where the hockey player is killed. At the end Warrick, who has found out he can not continue his new relationship with the jazz singer who is a junky, goes to gamble, succumbing to his own addiction. Nicks shows up and sits beside him to play. Warrick asks what he's doing there, and Nick says, "I'm playing cards (pause) with my friend." Nick nods to the dealer, and his chin looks like he's going to cry. But, I want to say it looks like George is going to cry because that line really did not necessarily call for that emotion, but it just seemed like he actually felt it, kwim?

For what it's worth, I usually think posts like this are so silly!

That's why I love about him. He isn't afraid to show his emotions.

Season 2, Episode 16: Primum Non Nocere
Original Air Date: 28 February 2002
An ice hockey player dies during a game.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0534729/

Non-relevant (to my original post) trivia: The title "Primum Non Nocere" is better known as the physicians' motto "First do no harm."

And, the main story line is not the one in which this quote appears. It appears at the very end, the very last sentence. One could miss it, but I thought it quite poignant. The quote is posted on that page, actually. Though, they left out the pregnant pause, which is significant, in my opinion.

He's either very good at subtle emotions or was really feeling that moment.

I love the way he can show real emotions and in most episodes it works well. I know his character has lots of heavy back story so I tend to put it down to his bringing all that stuff to the serious moments but sometimes I think he goes a bit too far. I still think he's great though.

I love the episode where Nick is trapped in the plexi-glass box under ground. When they finally get him out, he's shaking so badly and he's just bawling. I started to cry watching him! He's the best actor on the show, strength wise. I just love him.

I've yet to see that one!

In the show he gets a gun pointed to his face a couple of times but the first time, in the early seasons, he nearly made me cry. he was surprised by this woman with a gun, they were alone and nick tried his best to convince her not to shoot but he was crying and trying to control his shaking, it was a tense and emotional moment, may i add that he looked absolutely scrumptious? i just wanted to run to him and give him some confort.

I think there are two episodes where you can actually see tears "who are you" and "Stalker"
