Caroline Dhavernas as Stephenie Plum?

Definitely Yes! I made that suggestion on Janet Evanovich' website months ago. She has quite a list of actresses that people submit to her if moviemakers ever get off their butts and make some movies about Stephanie. I saw Caroline in all the episodes of Wonderfalls and I think she's funny as hell, but one particular episode had her being really bitchy to a teenage kid and at that moment I saw her as Stephanie Plum. Every new Plum book I read I'm picturing her in the role and I'm getting even more laughs out of it.

I love Stephenie Plum. And I love Caroline Even more!!! She'd be great in this role, but would she be willing to potentially do 1, 3, or 5+ movies?(lol, all the books...that will take a forever!)
In any case, just doing One for the Money will be a treat!
They should make the series a tv show, like Wonderfalls meets Karen Sisco!!!

There was a tv pilot in 2002 that doesn't seem to have made it passed the table, but not with Dhavernas.

I vote Alex O'Loughlin for Morelli.

Alex would be OK as Morelli, but I don't think he's Italian enough... Maybe he could put on an accent, though.

The person who immediately comes to mind is the guy from Six Feet Under and Julia & Julia (Chris Messina?).

As for Ranger, I always imagined him as "The Rock" when I was reading the books, so I deninitely second the suggestion for him. ;)
