Why do we keep losing her?

To me it's a tale of two kinds of network support. Wonderfalls would have been a hit if the network would have supported it well (or at all!). Critics and fans were begging that it not be cancelled from the start. At least that show works very well as a mini-series.

"Off the Map" got good network support and had a good opportunity to show ratings strength. It faded and got cancelled and I don't see a lot of fans and critics being too upset. Personally, I didn't like the show but I never cared for "doctor shows" so I could well be wrong about how good it was.

I love Wonderfalls and have been mystified as to if or why she didn't get a chance to move onto bigger things. Maybe if she moved to Los Angeles she would have had more opportunities. I thought she could have had a career similar to Tea Leoni's.

I tried watching "Off The Map". It was too geared towards 20-somethings for my taste. I'm so old now I enjoy New Tricks on the BBC!
