- Still getting prestigious awards and nominations (SAG, Golden Globe, Emmy) for her TV show
- Will debut a flashy role in a big franchise (Suicide Squad) in a few months
- About to start filming "Fences", the play the film is based on, garnered her a Tony

Long story short : between her prestige (Tony/SAG/Emmy winner), overdue factor (two previous nominations), the great exposure her TV show and the superhero franchise will (continue to) give her and damn strong (Tony-winning) role, she will have THE perfect narrative for an Oscar win. At last.

I think fences will be released in 2017 though!!! Do they have the time for preproduction filming and post production?

I think so. "Steve Jobs" was shot in early 2016 and released in october. "Fences" seem to be a very character-driven story, with just a few sets and no need for heavy post-production work.

I hope so and i'm excited for them. hope it's the beginning of lots more projects. especially now being apart a future blockbuster hit she needs to ride that wave.
