When did you become a Hugh Dancy fan?

Just curious as to the points of his career that fans started noticing him.

For me it was Evening. He was really, really good in it and made the film that much better. Because without him, I don't think I would have liked it much.
I also saw The Jane Austen Book Club around the same time.

From the very beginning. I watched Trial & Retribution and The New Adventures of Robin Hood and that got me hooked. I even used to run a fansite about him about 13 years ago until my computer crashed, and I lost everything. :( I'm still a big fan. I watch all his movies.

I saw both Shooting Dogs and Elizabeth I within a fairly short span of time and I became quickly impressed. I've followed his career ever since and I'm constantly surprised at how overlooked he is, but after seeing his work on the first episode of Hannibal, I wouldn't be surprised if he finally gets some more (much deserved) awards attention.
