Finally! 'The Debt' Gets U.S. Release Date

Hoo-ray! Focus Features has picked "The Debt" up out of the morass of the Miramax collapse, and the film has now been given an August 31st release date in U.S. theatres. This is the holiday weekend, so maybe that will mean more box-office returns for the film.

Personally, I'm just happy I'll finally get to see Marton on screen again, since both "The Tree" and "South Solitary" (not to mention "L'Age de Raison") have not been anywhere near me.

But, Chick.... won't new Marton just add to that "steaming summer heat"? It will for me!

Hungarian Kiwi,

I, for one, am glad that you keep up with what's going on with Marton's body of work. Well done.

It's great to have a date for this and to know it's really going to happen.

YIPPEEE !!!!! Now I'll bring the popcorn..... This is good news since it may take Marton and his team that long to get him some new work..... I truly hope not.... I just want to have a steady diet of some Marton movies say one every six months Good work my dear. Let's hope that Dream House will be released soon as well... (one can only hope),, You all take care and have a good day.
