shareMaybe a little! Looks like a good flick.
shareUgh - I beg to differ - Russell Crowe is NOT a handsome man.
He has small eyes, he is usually kind of chunky (though he did trim down a bit for Robin Hood), rather thin lips (not lush like Marton's)nowhere near the jawline and chin and a rather odd shaped nose (Marton's is perfect and adorable). Also the brows are quite different.
They are however a similar TYPE in that Crowe usually sports stubble or a trimmed beard and has a more masculine look.
They do both have similar foreheads though, I did pick-up on that. This has been quite discussed in this thread:

I don't see that at all, but I do sometimes see Kevin Spacey (albeit, Marton is a lot taller, a few years younger, has more hair [and it's inclined to curl] and is more handsome. To me he looks like the brother who got the height and better looks. I think they could handily play brothers in a film or on stage. As for comparing him to Crowe, I do think they both have a certain masculine "down under" kind of appeal but Marton is much better behaved.
shareYou've got mail too Chick!
Yeah he may sometimes have that similar intensity (in Asylum especially)and he really is a chameleon. But you know it is sure nice to him in a bunch of new work where he looks like himself! Even with his own true haircolor in L'age de Raison, The Tree and South Solitary. Yay for red highlights!
i didn't make any judgments about handsomeness or lack of. it was just a split second similarity to crowe i noticed in the trailer. i'm clearly not as familiar with marton as you are so have really nothing else to call upon to compare.
for the record though, i think russell crowe is one incredibly virile rugged man and i would invite him into my bed any time of the day or night!
marton looks good too. :)
They do seem to do a good job of turning out the manly, virile types down under, don't they?
shareWell I stand somewhat corrected re the Russell Crowe thing by Chick who reminded me of a couple of scenes in Asylum.
I'm not into RC but he has had his moments for sure and his really bad attitude on its own is bed-worthy.
