Lots of new roles for Marton!

Hi guys,

Well, it's been a while! Too busy right now for words, but just saw this on a Google search. Marton has been cast in Discovery Channel's first ever scripted show, "Klondike":

The article also mentions that he has just wrapped shooting parts in "Sin City 2" as well as "The Amazing Spiderman 2". Wow! We're about to see alot of our Marton on both the large and small screens.

Of course, I still have to catch up with all the "Rogue" stuff....

He reminds me of the actor Elias Koteas. He gets Big parts in small films and Small parts in big films

Hi HK Nice to hear from you....... All I can say is that it is about time for Marton.... Good for him and I am glad that he is activly seeking and appearing in numerous roles.... Maybe one day he will actually star and be the lead in a film that we can all enjoy all the time.....
Take care and thanks for the info.

Hi MM,

Well, he had worked up to that with "Aeon Flux," but then the movie was so poorly received. I still half like that movie - my biggest peeve with it is Theron's wooden acting throughout. I guess we can look at small films like "South Solitary" and say, well, he's the male lead in an indie. Unfortunately, with Hollywood being as ageist as it is, he may be stuck with character roles and supporting cast from here on out.

The upside is that he's still getting lead parts in TV, like in Falcon.

Hi HK Well you know being a character actor is really good for him since he can do all kinds of accents and can change his appearance very easily this might be the best road for him to go down. And I am all right with TV... sometimes it is an even better medium than film.....take care

Very cool, this news. I'm glad he's more in demand now than ever. He deserves to be more well known, however. Go, Marton!
