I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Marton in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter as Jack Barts! This is a really great actor and a knockout to boot, I almost didn't recognize him. Kinda like his role in Lord of the Rings. lol His acting is still on par would just like to see more of that handsome face that God blessed him with. :o)

shareIf I understand actors correctly, they LOVE to play 'dress up' and try to get as far away from who they appear to be as a challenge to their skills.
Very few actors take such parts because they HAVE to, more because it helps them 'stretch their craft.' Imagine straight actors who play gay, and gay actors who play straight. It's the most convincing ones that make you say, 'NO WAY! I could have SWORN he/she was the other way! Or, the evil characters who are really sweetheart people. It's the same thing. It just proves that the actor really IS brilliant.
But I have to agree with you there! He's a phenomenally good looking man with LOADS of sex appeal!
Totally agree with you. And I'd like to see him in some more satisfying endings as well, but he won't get those till he's in more romantic lead roles. Aeon Flux was good, and South Solitary, and the Hercules episode. But maybe he prefers the sexy bad guy roles.
